Yva uses an eleven-point scale to determine the opinion of employees on each of the aspects or questions:

  • The platform considers answers from 7 to 10 points as positive,

  • The platform considers answers from 4 to 6 points to be neutral,

  • The platform considers answers from 0 to 3 points to be negative.

According to the Yva calculation method the result is the percentage of positive answers to the questions of the aspect or to each of the questions.

Net Promoter Score

NPS (Net Promoter Score) shows the attitude of employees to certain aspects of the work environment. In Yva, we distinguish 3 types of NPS:

  • Employee NPS or the loyalty to the company as an employer: "I would recommend our company as a good place to work",

  • Manager NPS or the loyalty to the manager: "I'd recommend my manager to my colleagues",

  • Product NPS or the loyalty to the company's product or service: "I would recommend our company's products and services to my family and friends".

NPS is calculated as the difference between the proportion of Promoters - employees who are ready to recommend a manager, employer or company services/products, and the proportion of Critics - employees who are not ready to recommend.

  • Promoters are those who chose the values "9" or "10" when answering a question.

  • Critics are those who chose from "0" to "6".

  • Employees who choose "7" or "8" are considered Passive.
